We are seeking a skilled RF Test and Automation Engineer with 4+ years of experience to develop, implement, and maintain automated test solutions for RF hardware in a production-level environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RF test methodologies, production-level automation, and scripting, with the ability to work cross-functionally with hardware, firmware, and manufacturing teams.
What you will do
- Design, develop, and deploy automated RF test systems for validating production hardware.
- Implement and maintain test scripts using Python, LabVIEW, or other relevant scripting languages.
- Support and improve automated test setups for high-throughput manufacturing environments.
- Develop test plans, procedures, and documentation to ensure compliance with performance and quality standards.
- Analyze RF performance data and provide insights into yield improvements and failure analysis.
- Interface with design, hardware, and manufacturing teams to support product development and deployment.
- Ensure calibration and validation of RF test equipment (e.g., signal generators, spectrum analyzers, VNAs).
- Optimize test time and maintain test robustness for volume production.
- Design lab setups for various types of tests and Build racks and other test-rigs as necessary for executing the test plan.
- Understand system requirements and architecture in depth and formulate detailed test plans to validate the requirements.
- Automate the test execution including control and configuration of test equipment.
- Document test results, test coverage and other KPIs and communicate to all stakeholders regularly.
- Deep-dive into test results and root-cause issues and communicate to the appropriate teams.

This is a full time, exempt position, based out of our Saratoga office. The target base pay for this position is $100,000 - $165,000 annually. The total compensation packaged will be determined by various factors such as your relevant job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
We are redefining how satellites are designed, manufactured and used-so we're looking for candidates with passion, deep knowledge and direct experience on LEO satellite component development, design and in-orbit activities. If that's your experience - then we'll be immediately wow-ed.
