Position Summary:
The Basketball Clinic Instructor is a hands-on role that will provide expert instruction to athletes to help them increase their knowledge and understanding of the game while instilling the fundamentals and skills necessary to take their game to the next level. The Basketball Clinic Instructor is directly responsible for providing the i9 Sports Experience and driving a positive youth sports culture on the court. Clinics are help once per week for 6 consecutive weeks.

Responsibilities:

• Lead practice sessions focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
• Teach & demonstrate core concepts including Sportsmanship values
• With the help of established platforms, communicate weekly clinic information to athletes and parents.
• Maintain a positive and encouraging environment for athletes and parents.
• Consistently demonstrate a positive attitude and superior customer service skills
• Attend mandatory training sessions and meetings to stay updated on i9 Sports policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Passion for youth sports and a complete understanding of the fundmentals and rules of basketball.
• Significant experience as a basketball player, coach, or official is required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with players and parents.
• Strong decision-making abilities and the ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
• Reliable and punctual, with the ability to commit to a consistent schedule.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to complete required background checks and certifications as per i9 Sports guidelines.
