Position Overview :
American Outdoor Brands was forged in innovation and the desire to produce products that support the everyday shooter, hunter, defender, and outdoorsman. AOB is coveted for its leading innovative product development capabilities and processes. The Senior Application Developer plays an important role in new product development, as well as creating additional value for the marketing and sales functions. The Senior Application Developer supports New Product Development by completing the design, development, and release of product related software and applications for a variety of different user interfaces. This role builds upon the responsibilities of App Developer II, with the highest expectations for leadership, project ownership, and mentorship of junior developers. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in mobile app development and a passion for the outdoors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Proficiencies in completing daily tasks, and broader long-term projects, involving :
Develop and maintain mobile applications for Android and / or iOS
Collaborate and work closely with other Application Developers as well as Product Engineers, Product Designers, and Electrical Engineers to develop mobile applications to support new product launches as well as existing in-line product refreshes and expansion opportunities
