Position Description :

As a Project Manager, Campaign and Engagement, you will be responsible for project managing the execution of an integrated strategy focused on engagement and marketing as part of the comprehensive philanthropy campaign for the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW) and Froedtert Hospital.

This position reports to the Senior Director, Engagement with the Office of Institutional Advancement (OIA) and collaborates closely with the Director, Philanthropy Marketing and Engagement within the Office of Communications (OOC), in addition to collaborating with other leadership roles across OIA, OOC, and Froedtert Marketing and Communications. This role will project manage an aligned strategy for all donor audiences focused on content development, events, stewardship, board engagement, digital messaging, and all philanthropy campaign brand efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Provides project management of marketing and engagement integrated teams, including initiatives focused on philanthropy engagement, stewardship, events, campaign marketing and plan development.
  • Executes project management for donor-facing material development such proposals, case statements, and stewardship reports.
  • Project management support for data-focused initiatives and philanthropy software implementations.
  • Tracks progress toward departmental and business unit goals.
  • Responsible for project managing the execution of annual strategic plans aligned with donor and volunteer engagement, stewardship, philanthropy marketing, and campaign development.
  • Recommends and executes expectations for integrated teams in adherence of established timeline goals, outcomes measurements, and internal and external reporting.
  • In partnership with OIA and OOC leadership, executes a board engagement strategy inclusive of MCW and Froedtert Hospital leadership boards and disease-specific boards focused on elevating volunteer connectivity, giving, and building awareness of campaign priorities.
  • Develops and recommends project management tools and processes to facilitate internal communication processes across OIA and OOC teams.
  • Tracks content metrics aligned with philanthropy marketing and communications strategy.
  • Collaborates with OIA and OOC leadership to promote a results-driven, collaborative work environment focused on strategic planning and process improvement within functional areas.

Knowledge - Skills - Abilities

  • Demonstrated success in process management and improvement
  • Demonstrated success developing strategic and work plans, with an emphasis on effective project management.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communications skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage in a complex organization and plan strategically with high-level faculty, administrators and volunteers.
  • Expert knowledge of fundraising concepts, techniques and procedures. Preferred experience with philanthropy campaigns.

    Position Requirements :

    Minimum Qualifications :

    Appropriate experience may be substituted for education on an equivalent basis.

    Minimum education : Bachelor's Degree; project management certification and experience preferred

    Minimum experience : 6 years

    Preferred Qualifications :

    Preferred experience : 4 plus years in the Advancement field, with a preference for experience in the higher education or healthcare sectors.
