Dewberry’s Peoria, IL office includes over 40 design professionals, including a large Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Structural (MEPS) Group focused on design services for nationwide clients in specialized facility types and specialized design services. Our experience includes high performance buildings, net zero energy design, renewable energy technologies, microgrid and energy storage system design, energy and climate resilience, and services related to decarbonization / electrification of the built environment. Our Peoria MEPS group contains subject matter experts in leadership roles in international professional organizations such as ASHRAE. Dewberry is currently seeking a Civil Engineer - Assistant Civil Engineering Department Manager to join our Peoria IL office. The candidate will perform a variety of civil engineering functions in support of a growing office. This Engineer must be flexible, able to work independently, technologically savvy, and client focused.

Responsibilities

- Perform work that may include, but is not limited to, construction document (plan and specifications), technical reports preparation and / or oversight; engineering analyses, cost estimates and quality control / quality assurance in order to deliver a quality design product.

The projected range for this position is $133,000-$172,000 annually. Depending upon other factors, ., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
