A company is looking for a Clinical Documentation Specialist. Key Responsibilities Ensure the integrity and accuracy of clinical documentation through review and education Conduct concurrent reviews of patient health records to assess documentation quality Collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance documentation practices and resolve discrepancies Required Qualifications, Training, and Education Associate / Diploma Degree in Nursing or Health Information Technology, or an advanced nursing degree Preferred certifications include RN License, RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CCDS, or CDIP Experience in Critical Care, Medical or Surgical Inpatient Care Nursing, or as an inpatient coder is preferred Proficiency in using standard desktop and Windows-based computer systems Ability to operate independently and collaboratively in a healthcare environment
