Position Summary : Clinical Educator . is a change agent working in collaboration with the health care leadership team to provide a multi-disciplinary approach in promoting ongoing professional development of clinical staff. Position requires knowledge in performance improvement and clinical outcomes using evidence-based practice and research. Also serves as a leader / consultant / mentor in curriculum development and utilizes various educational delivery methods to advance the practice of clinical disciplines to achieve quality, cost-effective support for patient / family outcomes within the organization and across populations.

Position Requirements
Education : Graduate from an accredited school of nursing required. Bachelor's degree required. Masters preferred.
Licensure : Registered Nursing licensed in the State of Nebraska or eligible compact state - required
Certification :
- Current Basic Life Support certification required or within first 3 months of hire
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification or within first 3 months of hire
- Pediatric Life Support certification or within first 3 months of hire

Essential Job Functions
Physical requirements : This position is classified as Sedentary Work in the Dictionary of Occupational Titles, requiring the exertion of up to 1-pounds of force occasionally (up to 33% of the time) and / or a negligible amount of force frequently (33%-66% of the time) to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time
Must be able to pass background check. We also conduct pre-employment physical and drug testing. Any job offer will be contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment physical with a drug screen, background check and obtaining active licensures per job requirements.
