We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to support aerospace and defense manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in programming multi-axis CNC machines using ESPRIT CAM software , and have a strong understanding of tight-tolerance machining, aerospace materials, and GD&T.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop and optimize CNC programs using ESPRIT for lathes, mills, and multi-axis machines
Interpret engineering drawings, 3D models, and specifications to generate accurate programs
Select tools, speeds, and feeds for efficient and precise machining
Collaborate with machinists and engineers to troubleshoot and improve machining processes
Maintain documentation, revision control, and program archives
Support first article inspection (FAI) and AS9100 quality requirements
Ensure programs meet all customer, quality, and safety standards
Qualifications :
3+ years of CNC programming experience in aerospace and / or defense manufacturing
Proficient in ESPRIT CAM software or similar
Strong knowledge of G-code, M-code, GD&T, and machining best practices
Experience with 3, 4, and 5-axis machines is a plus
Familiarity with AS9100 quality systems and FAI processes
Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and 3D CAD models
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
