YOUR ROLE

In this role you will be spending most of your time coding in COBOL to support the Performance Plus application. You will provide direct leadership to the resources assigned to your efforts and bring high levels of influencing skills for the other teams involved.

We are looking for someone who is seasoned expert in the technologies that we support. Who enjoys exploring creative ideas for problem solving, providing direction and leadership in our technical solutions, and will partner with the other teams in Genworth in support of our technical platform and business processes. You are intellectually curious with a continuous process improvement mentality.

You will have the opportunity to learn new technology practices, platforms, and tools (Performance Plus, Informatica, GitLab, Eclipse, Oracle Comp, Back Feeds, Agile). Using your broad applications experience, you will traverse the IT / Business areas to provide solutions that move our goals forward.

This is a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility and the ability to manage multiple efforts concurrently.

The base salary pay range for this role starts at a minimum rate of $ 86,000 up to the maximum of $164,400. In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible to participate in an incentive plan. The incentive plan is based on performance and the target earning opportunity is 10% of your base compensation. The final determination on base pay for this position will be based on multiple factors at the time of this job posting including but not limited to geographic location, experience, and qualifications to ensure pay equity within the organization.
