A professional Information Technology (IT) centric government agency is seeking an expert SharePoint and Power Platform Developer to drive the modernization and optimization of our Microsoft 365 environment. This is a critical 6-month contract opportunity to work in a medium-sized work environment focused on service level results.
This role addresses an increased workload and a push toward integrating new technologies. The ideal candidate is a proactive, self-motivated developer with strong problem-solving and UI / UX skills.
Scope and Daily Duties
The primary scope of this project is to provide expert-level development services to support the modernization, automation, and optimization of the internal SharePoint environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the maintenance and enhancements of the agency's intranet, including analysis, requirements gathering, systems design, and UI / UX development.
- Leverage existing M365 tools, especially the Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), for custom solution development and business process automation.
- Design and implement modern SharePoint solutions, including site provisioning, web parts, workflows, and branding, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance standards.
- Provide robust problem-solving and Tier 3 technical support to end-users to ensure the intranet functions smoothly.
- Focus on implementing personalized user experiences (content targeting, custom dashboards) to boost user engagement and productivity.
