Job Overview
Onesta General Contracting LLC is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support our high-profile commercial and multifamily renovation projects. This role requires a background in residential and commercial construction, exceptional communication skills, and a strategic mindset to help drive projects to successful completion.
The ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, has experience working on multiple large-scale projects simultaneously, and is committed to delivering top-tier results. Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities :
- Determine and define the scope of work and deliverables
- Predict the resources needed to complete projects
- Draft and submit a budget based on the scope of work and resource requirements
- Manage costs in order to meet the budget
- Work closely with the Project Manager and Superintendent to ensure seamless progress and clear communication across all parties
- Provide direction over contracts and subcontracts
- Familiarity with construction software like BuilderTrend
- Experience using Microsoft Office software, like Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams
- Manage the construction schedule and activities
- Manage the submittal process
- Issue progress updates as needed regarding costs and timelines
- Ensure work is done in compliance with all relevant building and safety codes
- Select and manage subcontractor and supplier relationships
- Coordinate efforts across the entire project between architects, designers, engineers, and subcontractors
