As a Business Intelligence Analyst for Caterpillar's Resource Industries segment, you will evaluate economic, commercial and competitive data to provide insights to our senior leadership team. This is a visible role cutting across functions and business divisions and is critical to helping shape operational and strategic planning decisions. In Resource Industries, you'll be supporting the largest machines at Caterpillar at a time when they're on the front lines of critical topics - like electrification, autonomy and emissions control - that will help define the world of tomorrow.

What You Will Do :

• Monitor and forecast commodity market trends and align with business unit leadership on impacts to product groups
• Present analysis and forecasts to management, business unit leaders and industry stakeholders
• Drive insights to business partners through summarization and visualization of economic data
• Coordinate business intelligence reports for senior leaders, focusing on market trends and customer / competitor activity
• Analyze existing and emerging market trends across key commodity groups and provide guidance to long-term planning processes
• Maintain enterprise data repositories and lead data curation and digital transformation efforts
• Maintain and utilize networks of people and resources for obtaining competitive information

Summary Pay Range :

95,640.00 - $143,520.00
