Job Description
Reporting to the Assistant Athletic Director of Digital Strategy and Revenue Innovation, this position serves as the primary digital and social media contact for OU Men's Basketball, leading strategy, content creation, and execution across all team social channels to promote the program, grow its audience, and drive engagement. The role collaborates closely with creative, communications, and basketball staff to develop innovative campaigns, integrate emerging trends, and deliver sponsored and NIL content. In addition, the position supports web, app, and email marketing initiatives, executing revenue-generating digital projects and enhancing the online fan experience. Responsibilities also include analytics tracking, cross-platform coordination, and assisting with other sports as assigned.
Essential Functions :
- Social Media
Serve as the men's basketball primary contact for all social and emerging media channels and develop, execute and manage all online digital strategies. Ideate, create and publish content for @OU_MBBall social channels on Instagram, X, Facebook and websites (Sidearm and YouTube).
Participate in web strategy development and execution.
