Recruitment Type : Job Duties
Responsible for assembling resident trays, breakdown and cleaning resident trays, assist with keeping the department clean, and assisting with basic food preparation. Work without constant supervision, be aware of speed and time constraints. Be able to follow verbal or written instructions.
Minimum Qualifications
Food Preparation : This includes the ability to prepare meals according to recipes and dietary restrictions, using various kitchen equipment and utensils.
Food Safety and Sanitation : Maintaining a clean and safe environment. Must be knowledgeable about proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures.
Knowledge of Nutrition : Understanding basic nutrition principles and dietary restrictions is essential for preparing appropriate meals for individuals with specific needs.
Operating Kitchen Equipment : Dietary aides need to be comfortable using various kitchen appliances and tools.
