Clutch Driving Academy is a new, professionally run driving school launching in Seattle. We are seeking a Washington State licensed driving instructor to join us at launch and help establish a high standard for safety, professionalism, and quality instruction. This is not a route-driving or volume-based position. Clutch Driving Academy is being built as a structured, safety first academy with clear instructional standards, documented procedures, and strong leadership support. Position Overview The driving instructor is responsible for delivering classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel instruction to teen and adult students in accordance with Washington State requirements and Clutch Driving Academy’s instructional standards. Compensation & Employment Details Hourly rate: $26–28 per hour (W-2 employee) Paid for all instructional time and required duties Paid sick leave in accordance with Washington State law Payroll, timekeeping, and leave tracking handled through digital systems Final rate within the range will depend on experience, judgment, and alignment with academy standards.
