Drywall Carpenter Position Description : We are seeking construction employees who specialize in steel stud framing, drywall installation, and drywall finishing. This is a Mavid Construction project based in Brimley, MI, with work starting in mid-August of 2024. H.J. Martin and Son acts as a mentor in the construction industry, to help Mavid Construction obtain Tribal, Government, and MBE projects.
Drywall Carpenter Principal Responsibilities :
- Wood, steel, drywall, and metal framing construction
- Hanging drywall
- Metal truss installation
- Use and maintain hand tools, portable power tools, and stationary power tools in a safe manner
- Prepare drywall for finishing
- Ensures job site remains clean and orderly
- Basic knowledge of tool and equipment safety, ability to identify and correct environmental or other workplace hazards
- Willingness to learn and receive instruction / direction from project leader
