Description : Instruct, assign, check work and work with student employees involved in classroom and OJT Training.

• Instruct employees in proper work methods, use of equipment, safety rules, and quality standards.
• Conduct training sessions, product demonstrations provide OJT to hourly employees.
• Assist in developing criteria for evaluating effectiveness of training activities.
• Facilitate the training for all sub and final assembly operations.
• Check work methods and results for conformance to standards and re-instruct as required.
• Assists, develops, and implements technical product training programs for field site employees as well as in house.
• Assist in creating or obtaining information needed to prepare training programs, prepares training materials, designs product demonstrations, develops course contact, determines methodology, and coordinates the development of training aids.
• May utilize trainers with technical expertise
• Assists in revising lesson plans to meet new training requirements and to keep technical information up to date.
• Report to supervisor on work progress, including conditions surrounding failures to meet quantity and quality standards.
• Follow and rules and regulations pertaining to environmental health and safety.
• Segregate waste material and follow good housekeeping practices. Basic Qualifications :
• Requires in-depth knowledge of operation and structure of helicopters, engines, accessories and electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints and specifications and use a wide variety of precision measuring instruments and gages.
• Knowledge of inspection practices. Familiar with sheet metal fabrication.
• Equivalent to two years high school plus two to three years trades training and A&P license.
• Experience 1-3 years.
• Continuous mental and visual attention required to provide training and skill demonstrations for the installation, assembly and / or fabrication of helicopter accessories and assemblies. Check work of employees for consistency, correctness and quality.
