Emergency Veterinary Technician - Shift Coordinator
Veterinary Technician (RVT) / Experienced Veterinary Assistant
Seeking a compassionate, skilled, upbeat Veterinary Technician (RVT) or Experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our tight-knit team as an ER Shift Coordinator. Sign on Bonus of up to $2,500 to qualified candidate.
Weekend shift differential and overnight shift differential.

As we are a 24-hour emergency hospital please be willing to work outside of the boring 9am-5pm weekday schedule.
Job Summary :
Responsible for overseeing ER technicians and support staff on their assigned shifts. They are
expected to lead, manage, and hold all staff that report to them accountable. Responsibilities
include : assigning case load, assessing patient care, acting as a liaison, assessing and providing training, ensuring compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Manage flow of shift by properly assigning shifts based on technician skill and caseload.
- Ensure follow through by technicians on all cases and patient care.
- Facilitate customer service, technician and doctor communication to ensure accurate
and efficient completion of cases.
anesthetic, surgical, safety, laboratory, radiology procedures, and infectious disease
control.
