Responsibilities

Vehicle Maintenance : Perform thorough inspections and routine maintenance services on various vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.

Repair Diagnosis : Accurately diagnose mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic equipment and provide effective repair solutions.

Parts Installation : Install and replace parts such as engines, transmissions, belts, and hoses to ensure vehicles operate at peak performance.

Customer Interaction : Engage with customers to understand their vehicle concerns and ensure they are aware of any necessary repairs or maintenance.

Shop Organization : Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace by following proper shop procedures and protocols.

Continuous Improvement : Participate in ongoing training and workshops to keep abreast of industry advancements and broaden skillsets.

Requirements

Certification : ASE certification or equivalent is highly preferred.

Experience : Prior experience as an automotive technician, preferably with Kia and Mazda vehicles.

Technical Skills : Extensive knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance procedures.

Problem-Solving : Strong analytical skills to accurately diagnose and resolve complex issues.

Communication : Excellent verbal communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers.

Physical Stamina : Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.

Attention to Detail : Keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality workmanship.

Teamwork : Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Flexibility : Willingness to work evenings as needed.

Dependability : Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license.
