Job Overview
Serve as retail floor supervisor with shift responsibility for employees, floor merchandising, security and revenue integrity
Oversee retail floor employees
Report to a senior manager
Collaborate with inventory managers and other peers to create a stable and high-integrity customer service environment
Promote corporate and brand values through daily interaction with customers and team members
Responsibilities
Ensure that retail floor employees follow scheduled work times, breaks, lunch periods and HR policies
Manage assigned team members so as to create the most hospitable and professional guest experience
Observe and correct areas of exposure during each shift, including theft deterrence, cash handling, security positioning, staff deployment and other risks
Count and control cash and equivalents and complete daily reports for tracking revenue, product and wages owed
Coach and counsel direct charges on improving retail skills
Work with customers to help them achieve optimal value from each visit
Make sure that shelves are stocked for each current and following shift
Manage promotional events and other activities that take place during each shift
Protect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment
Maintain the stability and reputation of the business by complying with legal requirements
Qualifications and skills required
Proven retail or hospitality experience in a high-demand environment
Microsoft Office competence
Experience with POS and inventory systems
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Detail oriented, extremely accurate & precision focused
Past cannabis industry experience preferred but not required
References from previous employers
Must be age 21 to work in a dispensary per state law
Must be able to work morning shifts that begin at 8am
