Chipton-Ross is seeking a Full Stack Developer for a contract opportunity in Seattle, WA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):
- 5+ years of experience in software development with full stack expertise.
- Strong experience with REACT for front end development.
- Experience with Angular is a plus.
- Proficiency in Java/Spring Boot development, SQL, and REST APIs for backend services.
- Strong sense of understanding of software development testing practices.
- Familiarity with DevOps concepts and practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience working in agile development environments.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
In this role, your key responsibility will be to refactor the PTA application front end from Angular to React. You will also contribute to backend development with Java and collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate development and deployment processes. Duties may include (but are not limited to):
- Software development activities for web application
- Primarily with refactor for frond end conversion Angular to React as part of a multi-application unification project.
- Refactor and migrate the PTA application front end from Angular to React.
- Develop and maintain backend services using Java.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to implement and improve CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Apply DevOps concepts to support continuous integration, delivery, and infrastructure automation.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile development processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across front end and backend components.
- Contribute to improving application performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in full stack development and DevOps.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Experience with Databricks or similar big data platforms.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or other modern cloud platforms.
- Experience with Mantine component library is a plus
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and infrastructure automation tools.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with scripting languages and automation tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
REQUIRED EDUCATION Accredited education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience, 9 years' related work experience, etc.).
WORK HOURS FULL TIME/FIRST SHIFT; 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
