Position Summary : The Installer Technician fulfills an important role in the success of our overall organization by providing Installation services to our customers on a full-time basis. The position focuses on all aspects of installation and repair of computerized parking and access control systems.

Reports to : Branch Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist with project set-up, installation, and customer training
• Research and gain working knowledge via hands on and Amano McGann training on new hardware, devices and tools to provide better system solutions and installation and troubleshooting efficiency
• Follow and enforce all OSHA safety practices
• Ensure that work orders are detailed, completed per work order SOP and “signed-off” by the client prior to leaving he work site
• Maintain and operate company fleet vehicles in a safe manner and follow company vehicle operation policies
• Ensure work area is maintained and well organized
• Complete service tickets as needed and follow up with support until the issue is resolved
• Provide On-Call after hours and weekend emergency service as required by our customers (in rotation with other technical staff)
• Assist our sales staff in promoting the sale of new equipment / upgrades where appropriate
• Provide effective communication that creates a collaborative environment with all parties that the Field Team interacts with, including : Clients; Subcontractors; Branch staff; Support personnel; Corporate staff
• Work Overtime as needed
• All other duties as assigned
• These Key Responsibilities are general in nature and may be augmented with additional duties as determined by the needs of your manager
