Job Title : Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery

Overview :

Pay Package : $29 per hour with $1,100 weekly stipend

Required Skills :

Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Ability to clearly present information and collaborate across disciplines

Excellent organizational and time management skills

Experience using the nursing process for patient care delivery

Strong assessment, teaching, and delegation skills

Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to nursing practice

Preferred Education and Experience :

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing

Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in a Labor and Delivery environment

Other Requirements :

Current RN license in the state of practice

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association

Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association

Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification

Ability to work in high-pressure environments with exposure to blood, body fluids, and communicable diseases

Physical ability to perform heavy work, including moving objects up to 50 pounds, and standing or walking for significant periods

Understanding of occupational risks related to exposure to hazardous medications, waste, and infectious materials

May require shift work, including nights, weekends, or holidays depending on department needs
