A mid-size Chicago-based insurance defense firm is seeking an ambitious, ABA-certified Paralegal to join our team. Position Overview : The Paralegal will provide critical support to attorneys by managing a variety of litigation-related tasks. Responsibilities include case file management, assisting attorneys with case preparation, drafting legal documents, maintaining electronic databases, and client reporting. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Provide comprehensive administrative support to multiple attorneys and partners.
• Assist with the preparation of discovery, pleadings, and motions.
• Draft and update client reports.
• Organize, review, summarize, and draft documents.
• Conduct basic research on court rules and litigation trends.
• Manage requests for medical records and communicate with physicians and facilities.
• Analyze medical records and prepare summaries.
• Perform electronic filing in federal and state courts.
• Correspond with clients, opposing counsel, and court clerks.
• Assist with all aspects of trial preparation.

Compensation and Benefits Overview : $65,000-$80,000 (DOE)

The pay offered for this role may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
