divh2Master Scheduler / h2pThis opportunity is located within our EnviroLogix business that develops and manufactures testing solutions for detecting GMOs, mycotoxins, plant pathogens, natural toxins and chemical contaminants in multiple agricultural matrices. / ppJob Description / ppThe Master Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing production and project schedules to meet customer demand and business objectives. This role requires deep expertise in master production scheduling, planning systems, and cross-functional coordination. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with strong analytical skills, ERP / MRP proficiency, and the ability to drive operational excellence through effective planning and communication. / ph3Key Responsibilities / h3ulliDevelop and manage master production schedules in support of demand forecasts and more specific production plans for both inventoried book and ship products and build-to-order products. / liliMaximize planned operational efficiency and minimize short-term labor spend by developing a production schedule that best aligns forecasted customer demand with production schedules, and labor supply. / liliAnalyze production output, inventory levels, and demand signals to determine build requirements. / liliCoordinate production workflow across Core Operations and align ERP schedules with customer needs. / liliDeliver clear, actionable build plans to production and supply chain teams. / liliManage short notice demand changes and develop contingency plans for disruptions. / liliProvide delivery dates for build-to-order customer requests. / liliMaintain planning fields in ERP systems (e.g., lead time, planner, lot size). / liliPrioritize production activities to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) KPIs. / li / ulh3Sales, Inventory Operations Planning (SIOP) / h3ulliLead and participate in SIOP processes, including problem-solving and countermeasure execution. / liliAct as a trusted expert in SIOP, contributing to strategic planning and performance improvement. / liliCollaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to calibrate demand plans and ensure accuracy. / li / ulh3Inventory Resource Management / h3ulliBalance production level loading to minimize impacts of seasonality with inventory reduction to increase inventory turns year over year, a key performance indicator. / liliCoordinate with procurement, logistics, and production to ensure build plans use resources efficiently. / liliIdentify and mitigate risks related to supply chain, equipment, or labor availability. / li / ulh3Process Optimization Reporting / h3ulliImplement strategies to streamline scheduling, reduce waste, and improve efficiency. / liliProvide regular updates on schedule performance to stakeholders. / liliDevelop continuous improvement initiatives to automate and enhance planning processes. / liliOwn and lead daily visual management for production planning. / li / ulh3Leadership Cross-Functional Collaboration / h3ulliBuild strong partnerships with Manufacturing, Procurement, Logistics, Quality, and RD. / liliInfluence cross-functional teams to align planning strategies with business goals. / liliSupport professional development and mastery of planning tools and systems. / liliFoster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous learning. / liliThis role will at times be expected to directly participate in the EnviroLogix production process.
