Position : Mechanical Assembly Technician

Overview

We’re looking for a skilled Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our aerospace manufacturing team. In this role, you’ll perform hands-on assembly work, support production operations, and help maintain smooth material flow. Key Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical components using standard tools and techniques.
• Perform part identification and marking tasks.
• Record work progress and completion in the ERP system.
• Handle shipping, receiving, and inventory management activities.
• Verify incoming materials for accuracy, quality, and proper documentation.
• Prepare and stage orders for internal departments or external customers.
• Allocate and distribute materials to designated workstations.
• Receive and log component parts into inventory systems.
• Meet productivity and delivery targets while maintaining quality standards.
• Follow priority instructions and promptly report delays or issues to supervisors.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production and organizational goals.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
• Demonstrate professionalism in work habits, attire, and hygiene.
• Complete mentor certification and actively support training initiatives.
• Guide program participants on meeting production timelines and standards.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn, WA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00 / hr.
