A company is looking for a Freelance Nepali On-Demand Interpreter. Key Responsibilities Accurately interprets messages between non-English speaking patients and healthcare providers or support personnel on-site Adheres to the National Standards of Practice and the National Code of Ethics for Interpreters in Health Care Maintains patient confidentiality at all times Required Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of interpreting experience, preferably OPI / VRI National or State Interpreter Certification (e.g., CHI, CMI, NIC, CI / CT, VQAS) Knowledgeable command of Medical, Educational, and social services terminology in both languages 40 hours or more of interpreter training Demonstrated fluency in English and the target language, with the ability to provide fluency test results
