Responsibilities
Job Summary
Under the direction of a radiologist, this MRI Technologist performs diagnostic / therapeutic procedures, requiring independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Assumes responsibility for tasks or procedures as assigned. Performs data entry operations using appropriate hospital software package. Staff member may be required to provide coverage at various locations in the network.

Education
High School Diploma or GED Required
Experience
6 months MR experience via employment or training Required
Licenses and Certifications
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) One of the following is required prior to start date : American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Magnetic Resonance (ARRT-MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) or U.S. military Radiology General Procedures training program Required
Basic Life Support (BLS) Current and valid Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification Required
