Position : Nurse Practitioner
Job Type : Full-Time Non-Exempt
Shift Details : Flexible Schedule - Available Shift Hours 6, 10, & 12 Hour Shifts
Work Location : Crisis - Peoria, AZ - On-Site
Salary / Hourly Wage : $85.00 - $90.00 / hour
Specialties / Licenses or Certifications :
- Valid and Current State-Specific NP License
- PMHNP certification
- DEA certification
Position Summary : The Nurse Practitioner position is responsible for coordinating and providing medical / clinical services including engagement, assessment, differential diagnosis, recovery service planning, medication management, education, and risk assessment and discharge planning. The Nurse Practitioner position also uses Recovery Coaching to maximize the opportunity to create recovery partnerships and a recovery environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Provides appropriate treatment and referral according to individual's needs.
Supervises or provides nursing and medical care in compliance with licensing regulations and accreditation standards.
Keeps abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all Recovery Innovations policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified.
Collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to continuously improve productivity, efficiency, recovery outcomes and medical care.
Performs other related duties assigned.

Job Requirements :
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed must be representative of the knowledge, skills, minimum education, training, licensure, experience, and / or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties.
Master's Degree or above from an accredited School of Nursing with appropriate training as an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner.
Experience working in an acute psychiatric setting and training and experience in addiction preferred.
Basic computer skills.
If driving is required for this position, must meet all requirements outlined in Recovery Innovations' driving policy.
Travel required based on business need.
Must be able to pass a seven-year background check.
A Provider Competency Checklist must be completed as part of the new hire onboarding process.
Physical Demands :
May include work close to the eyes and substantial motions of the wrist, hands, and / or fingers. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, handling, finger dexterity; eye-hand-foot coordination, use of corrected vision; color vision; use of auditory senses. May be required to lift up to twenty (20) pounds.
Work Environment
May work in an office environment or behavioral health facility. May have contact with individuals who are agitated and / or confused. Work may include travel throughout the geographic region.
