Job Description

Job Title : Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Location : Kansas

Type of Facility : Hospital

Length of Assignment : 13 Weeks

Start Date : Immediately

Work Schedule : Monday-Friday, 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM, with one weeknight call and rotating 5th weekend call

Roles and Responsibilities :

Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures including cardiac / stress studies, renal scans, cerebral viability tests, HIDA scans, SPECT imaging, bone scans, shuntograms, gastric clearance studies, pulmonary scans, parathyroid imaging, MUGA scans, and cisternography
Work with patients from various departments including ICU, Pediatrics, Trauma, Med-Surg, and ER
Operate equipment such as Optima 640, GE Infinia, and Adac Forte
Handle unit doses (no on-site compounding required)
Collaborate with a team of 3 staff members and 2 full-time Nuclear Medicine Technologists from another campus
Participate in on-call rotation

Requirements :

CNMT or ARRT(N) certification

Active Kansas state license

Minimum 2 years of hospital-based Nuclear Medicine experience

Proficiency in various nuclear medicine procedures

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
