Key Responsibilities

- A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
- A combination of relevant experience and education.
For the GL-7 level, applicants should possess one year of specialized experience in law enforcement or hold a relevant bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement.
Additional Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must meet residency requirements.
- Must be under the age of 40 at the time of selection unless exempt due to prior service.
- Must complete a six-month training at the U.S. Border Patrol Academy in Artesia, New Mexico.
