Job descriptionOrganize and store electrical materials in designated areas, ensuring proper handling and protection. Maintain accurate inventory records using manual or computerized systems. Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure stock levels are accurate and up-to-date. Prepare and package materials for distribution to internal departments or external clients. Coordinate with other departments to fulfill material requests and ensure timely delivery. Utilize warehouse management systems to track and manage material movements. Transport materials from supply houses to office as needed. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries. Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain a clean and organized work area. Maintain accurate records of material receipts, distributions, and inventory levels. Generate and submit reports on inventory status, material usage, and any issues encountered. Assist in preparing reports for audits and inventory assessments. Assist in keeping accurate material usage logs from electrical service jobs. Provide excellent service to internal and external customers Ensure timely and accurate fulfillment of material requests. Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to material handling and distribution. High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in electrical systems or materials handling is a plus. Proven experience in material handling, preferably in an electrical or industrial setting. Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks is a plus. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic computer skills. Experience with inventory management software is a plus. Ability to lift and carry heavy materials. Stand, walk, and perform manual labor for extended periods.
