At Midas, we are committed to delivering exceptional services to our customers' vehicles through expert inspection, diagnosis, and repair, utilizing the skills acquired through ASE Certifications and years of automotive repair experience.
We are actively seeking skilled automotive technicians / mechanics who can thrive both independently and collaboratively within our full-service facility, fostering a culture of success.
Key Responsibilities :
- Utilize advanced computer systems for diagnostics
- Perform tire repairs and maintenance
- Service car heating and air conditioning systems
- Oversee steering and suspension repairs
- Inspect and replace belts and hoses
- Maintain radiator and engine cooling systems
- Manage battery, starting, and charging systems
- Conduct brake inspections and repairs
- Complete oil changes
- Address check engine light issues
- Perform muffler and exhaust services
- Conduct visual safety and courtesy inspections
- Proven ability to repair vehicles independently and excel in a team setting
- In-depth knowledge of automotive brakes, exhaust, suspension, and engine diagnostics
- Strong track record of personal productivity
- Familiarity with safety and environmental regulations in repair facilities
- Experience with shop equipment like lifts, tire changers, alignment machines, and scan tools
- High School Diploma or equivalent; technical degree is a plus
- State-specific auto repair certifications
- Valid driver's license
- Must own tools / equipment (diagnostic scanner / tools preferred)
- Ability to service both foreign and domestic vehicles
