Department Overview
The Woodwinds Rehabiliation clinic, located in Woodbury, evaluates and treats children with a range of diagnoses from cerebral palsy, to treating childrens who may have difficulties with motor milestones / muscle control and coordination. They provide training to children and their parents / caregivers in the use of adaptive equipment in order to promote independence.
Position Summary
Responsible for the evaluation and provision of physical therapy services to children; the accompanying written documentation and verbal communication needed to administer care including provider orders; provides patient / family / caregivers, staff, and student training; provide a safe, clean environment; provides proper care for departmental equipment; manages time effectively and promotes patient / family, provider, and intradepartmental satisfaction. All of the positions' duties are performed within Children's MN Standards of Behavior.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree from an accredited physical therapy program. Minnesota state licensure. Temporary Minnesota state licensure accepted if accompanied by proof of passing physical therapy board examination. BLS certification. Pediatric experience preferred.
