Apply today for this Pipe Layer position! Pipe Layer must have knowledge of pipe and fittings utilized in sewer and water main work. Placing PVC and concrete sewer and water main pipe in trenches. Grade and level trench bases, using tamping machines, shovels, and hand tools. Setting manholes and catch basins. Cutting pipe as necessary. Some small equipment operations, (BobCAT, packers, etc) Check grades for conformance to requirements, using levels or lasers. Direct deckhand and shovel operator. Mix concrete by hand to seal pipes.
