General Summary
The School of Technology Studies & Professional Services Management (STPSM) invites applications for Assistant Professor Tenure Track / Program in Aviation, which includes Aviation Management Technology & Aviation Flight Technology.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with the school director in planning, marketing and recruiting activities.
- Confer periodically with the Department Head / School Director on curriculum and instruction issues.
- Work closely with Director of Flight Operations (DO) on coordination of flight operations.
- Student advising.
- Teach contractual load of courses as assigned by the department or school.
- Engage in research and dissemination of pursuits that enable them to remain current in their respective disciplines.
- Provide other support service to the department, college and / or university, if applicable.
- Perform related departmental duties as required.
This position is covered under the collective bargaining agreement between EMU and American Association of University Professors (AAUP), which contains and settles all matters with respect to wages, benefits, hours and other terms and conditions of employment.
