Procurement Category Manager
Our client, a leading player in the oil and gas industry, is seeking a Procurement Category Manager to join their team. As a Procurement Category Manager, you will be part of the Procurement & Supply Chain Management department supporting the Technology Category Management team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and project management expertise which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title : Procurement Category Manager
Location : Denver, Colorado or Houston, TX
Pay Range : $48 / hr. - $54 / hr. Hybrid schedule : One week in-office, one week remote
What's the Job?
- Manage the Technology Category to deliver procurement services and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Implement procurement standards, processes, and operating systems in all procurement activities.
- Support strategic sourcing and execution of category management plans, including contracting and risk mitigation strategies.
- Lead communication related to procurement with key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Organize and support regional supplier and contract management activities, driving continuous improvement and compliance.
