Public Relations Manager Opportunity
The Public Relations Manager is an experienced communication leader who oversees the day-to-day implementation of Ulteig's corporate thought leadership and public relations plans, including executive visibility, corporate awards, media relations, and social media engagement. The PR Manager will work collaboratively with the Senior Manager - Corporate Communications, broader corporate communications team, marketing team, cross-functional leaders, and agency partners to lead and advance this work. The PR Manager is responsible for proactive storytelling and expert positioning through earned and owned channels. This includes executing and elevating Ulteig's thought leadership and company awards strategy, managing media relations opportunities and requests, and external planning and support for business milestones, news, and organizational storytelling.
The ideal candidate :
- Possesses strong writing and editing skills for a variety of content styles, including short and long form bylines, speakers notes for presentations, and social media.
- Demonstrates competency in media relations, including relationship-building, strategic thinking, and creativity.
- Works effectively across a wide range of communication channels.
- Is a passionate storyteller who understands the importance of tone.
- Excels at working collaboratively with leaders, as well as actively cultivating collaborative relationships with colleagues, the media, and other influencers.
- Is comfortable working independently and with cross-company, multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality work.
