Job Description :
Lead the Finance and Accounting Department, ensuring overall fiscal supervision.
Provide visionary guidance for agency operations.
Manage the annual budget and planning process.
Ensure adherence to contract billing and collection schedules.
Oversee cash receipts, tangible assets, disbursements, and federal grant billing.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Enhance risk management standards for asset protection.
Collaborate with insurance providers for cost-effective solutions.
Requirements :
Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
Familiarity with non-profit or public administration accounting / reporting practices in California.
Experience with automated accounting and financial management systems.
Application of Lean and Six Sigma principles.
Demonstrated leadership skills in diverse environments.
Compliance with state employment conditions.
Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
5+ years in responsible financial leadership roles.
5 years of fund accounting experience, with 8 years of progressive Accounting / finance experience.
