A company is looking for a Coordinator of Professional Coding Quality & Education, Remote.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and oversee the flow of medical record coded information for billing and reimbursement

Ensure completeness, accuracy, quality, and timely submission of medical data and documentation

Assess, design, and evaluate educational programs to improve documentation practices

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required; an Associate's Degree in a healthcare-related field may be considered with relevant experience

Certification in at least one coding credential (e.g., RHIT, CPC-A, CCS, CCP, CCA) required

Additional specialty coding certification or two years of specialty coding experience required

Thorough knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and coding systems is necessary

Five years of specialty coding experience is preferred
