Job description
Position Summary
Seeking a Quality Inspector with sheet metal manufacturing experience for a temp-to-hire role. Responsible for in-process and final inspections using precision tools to ensure parts meet drawings, specs, and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect sheet metal parts (in-process & final)
Use calipers, micrometers, height gauges
Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
Verify dimensions per customer requirements
Document inspection results accurately
Support ISO quality system requirements
Complete basic NCR documentation
Communicate quality issues to production teams
Keep inspection area clean and organized
Qualifications
2–3 years of sheet metal inspection experience
Strong measurement tool proficiency
Blueprint and dimensional drawing knowledge
Experience documenting inspections (paper or digital)
Familiarity with ISO processes
Excellent accuracy, detail-orientation, and reliability
Work Environment
Sheet metal fabrication (not aerospace / plastics)
Standing and inspecting throughout shift
Temperature-controlled production floor
Hiring Details
Full-time, Monday–Friday
7 : 00AM- 3 : 30PM
Start time varies by department
