About the Role
Maintain/update Qvidian database. Work closely with the subject matter experts from various areas within Trustmark who provide responses for database, allowing us to effectively respond to our Regional Sales team, producers, and clients. Completion of required documents using databases responses allowing Voluntary Benefits to increase sales.
Key Accountabilities
- Maintain/update a library of proposal content, templates, and other resources
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to gather or update information and develop compelling content
- Includes working with Marketing and/or technical writers to review our responses/answers allowing Voluntary Benefits to present Trustmark in the best possible light
- Act as main contact for database vendor including updated training, verifying efficiently of database, and effectively using the most up to date tools and technology available to Voluntary Benefits
- Develop and write high-quality responses to RFPs, questionnaires and templates including executive summaries, cover letters, etc.
- Edit and proofread documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity.
- Deliver the completed document(s) timely and accurately to the Regional Sales Teams
- Includes Formal RFP's, questionnaires, templates and questions received
- Track and report on questionnaire, template and Formal RFP activity included status results (Sold, Closed, etc.)
- Conduct research to ensure responses are well-informed and competitive
- Proactively gather Voice of the Customer information/feedback from Regional Sales Team with the intent of constant improvement to our responses and outputs.
- Other Duties as needed / assigned.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in proposal writing or a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with the RFP process and experience responding to RFPs.
- Excellent organization skills, adept at handling multiple tasks simultaneously, committed to follow through and completing assignments in a timely and professional manner.
- Interpersonal effectiveness with proven ability to establish/maintain mutually respectful relationships with peers and customers; handle conflict, resolve complex issues
- Proven experience with Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of work experience and education.
- Working knowledge of voluntary products with emphasis on Universal Life, Accident, Hospital Indemnity, Disability and Critical Illness
- Working knowledge of voluntary product administration and enrollment practices.
- Project Management experience
- Prior experience maintaining a data base of information
The compensation range for this role is (based on the corporate location in Lake Forest, Illinois): $28.40 - $41.03 per hour. The final salary offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for bonus.
