Description
Position : Security Guard Manager (Part-Time)
Compensation : NON-EXEMPT HOURLY, $45 / hourly
Reports To : Community Manager
Summary :
We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Officer to support the safety and security of our student housing community. The Security Officer will maintain a visible presence on the property, monitor access, conduct routine patrols, and respond to incidents in a courteous and timely manner. This role plays a key part in creating a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and guests.
Essential Responsibilities (including but not limited to) :
- Supervises the security guard on duty
- Responsible for ensuring reports and inspections are completed and sent to the CM
- Patrol the property regularly to deter unauthorized activity and ensure resident safety
- Monitor building access, cameras, and security systems
- Enforce community policies and report violations as needed
- Respond to emergencies, safety concerns, and resident requests for assistance
- Complete accurate incident reports and daily activity logs
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with residents and visitors
- Communicate effectively with property management and local authorities when necessary
