Senior SQL Server DBA
Hybrid – NYC or Iselin, NJ (Local Only)
Salary : $77K–$145K | No Sponsorship Available
We're looking for a hands-on SQL Server DBA with at least 5+ years of experience to join our hybrid team. You'll support critical SQL environments across on-prem and Azure,
handling performance, high availability, automation, and migrations. This role is ideal for someone technical, reliable, and looking to grow into a future Sr. Technical Lead.
What You'll Do :
- Manage SQL Server 2012–2019 and Azure SQL (VMs, Managed Instance, PaaS)
- Handle HA / DR (Always On, log shipping, replication, mirroring, Oracle RAC)
- Troubleshoot and tune performance, queries, deadlocks
- Migrate workloads to Azure, automate tasks (PowerShell, Azure Automation)
- Monitor systems (SQL Sentry, OpsRamp), manage access and data security
- Support developers with SQL optimization and code deployments
- Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation
