Job Description
At World View we are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Electrical Engineer / Designer with knowledge in electrical engineering principles to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing avionics systems, power systems, and communication systems based on a single board computer architecture, such as Raspberry Pi. This role demands a fast-paced approach to design, from concept to implementation, with an emphasis on out-of-the-box thinking and the operationalization of off-the-shelf components for use in high-altitude environments.
Role Responsibilities
- Design and development of complex electrical systems for avionics applications, ensuring simplicity and modularity.
- Rapidly conceptualize, design, and prototype innovative, out of the box solutions for avionics systems, power systems and communication systems based on single board computer architectures.
- Employ advanced circuit design and power system knowledge to create and enhance electrical devices capable of operating in the stratosphere.
- Demonstrate analytical prowess in solving unconventional engineering problems, designing experiments, and analyzing intricate data sets.
- Innovate and push the boundaries of electrical engineering, developing cutting-edge systems and fostering a culture of creativity.
- Provide expertise in complex circuit analysis and predict circuit behavior under challenging conditions.
- Document designs thoroughly, write detailed test plans and procedures, and produce technical documentation that sets organizational standards.
- Communicate complex technical ideas effectively to diverse audiences, including technical reporting and presentations.
- Maintain an exceptional level of precision and attention to detail in all tasks, ensuring the highest standard of system performance and accuracy.
- Lead and collaborate with project teams, integrating various disciplines and mentoring others in teamwork and collaboration techniques.
- Apply advanced theories and methods to design and analysis, guiding the team in problem-solving.
