General Information :

James Madison University's Facilities Management Department is accepting applications for an Integrated Waste Management Operator II in the Recycling Department. The shift is Monday - Friday, 6 : 30 a.m to 3 : 00 p.m with an altered schedule during the summer plus overtime.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Follows pre-established route for pick up of recyclable materials, reusable materials, and rubbish from various locations on campus.
• Transports materials to various recycling facilities.
• Maintains fluids in equipment and vehicles in operating order.
• Maintains appropriate records.
• Employee is required to work all home football games.
• The employee in this position will be considered designated, meaning the work performed is essential to university operations and the employee will be required to work during periods of authorized closings.
