Job description

Mitigation Manager

Southeast Restoration Group (SRG), a faith-based company, is seeking a Mitigation Manager to lead our dedicated mitigation team. In this leadership role, you'll play a crucial part in our mission to Restore Lives and Repair Property. You'll be guiding teams through water, fire, and mold-related emergencies while setting the standard for operational excellence, customer service, and team development.

Your Impact: Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership & Development: Set clear expectations, coach for growth, and hold team members accountable. Equip technicians and project managers to serve customers with skill, compassion, and professionalism.
  • Operational Oversight & Project Excellence: Manage the full lifecycle of mitigation projects - from emergency response to final documentation - ensuring timely, high-quality execution in line with IICRC standards and SRG protocols.
  • Financial & Strategic Performance: Oversee departmental performance, including budgeting, forecasting, job costing, and profitability. Use data to drive decisions and ensure we meet financial goals.
  • Customer Experience & Communication: Support Project Managers in delivering an excellent customer experience during times of crisis. Ensure customers are informed, cared for, and confident in the restoration process.
  • Emergency Response Readiness: Coordinate and support after-hours and catastrophe (CAT) event response efforts. Ensure readiness across team resources, equipment, and vendor relationships.
  • Systems & Documentation: Model excellence in using business systems such as PSA, Xactimate, and Concur. Ensure all documentation is complete, timely, and aligned with internal standards.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of team management experience in mitigation, restoration, or construction
  • IICRC WRT certification required; additional certifications (ASD, AMRT, FSRT, CDS) preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong knowledge of water/fire/mold mitigation processes and tools
  • Proficient in budgeting, forecasting, and financial decision-making
  • Experience leading emergency response efforts and managing CAT events
  • Tech-savvy with job management systems (e.g., PSA, Xactimate, Xactanalysis)
  • Excellent communicator with strong leadership and conflict resolution skills
  • Must be at least 21 years old and able to pass a DOT physical

Who Thrives Here

  • Mission-Minded Leaders: You lead with purpose and understand the impact of helping families recover from crisis.
  • Accountable & Results-Driven: You take ownership and deliver on commitments - financially and operationally.
  • Team Builders & Encouragers: You care deeply about your team's growth and are intentional in how you lead.
  • Clear Communicators: You build trust through honest, compassionate, and effective communication.
  • System-Oriented: You believe great documentation and process are key to scalable success.
  • Adaptable Under Pressure: You remain calm and focused when emergencies hit - and you help others do the same.

Benefits

  • Competitive Compensation Package + Profit-Based Incentives
  • Full Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Disability & Life
  • Safe Harbor 401K with 4% Company Match
  • Paid Time Off + Birthday Off + 5 Paid Mission Trip Days
  • Certification & Industry Training Reimbursement
  • Opportunities for Advancement in a Growing, Faith-Driven Company

Ready to lead a team that shows up when it matters most? Apply today and join a company committed to excellence, serving with compassion, and restoring lives.
