Graphic Design Contractor, LA Bucket Brigade

The Louisiana Bucket Brigade (LABB) is a 501(c)(3) environmental health and justice organization working with communities that neighbor the state's oil refineries and chemical plants. We use grassroots action to create an informed, healthy society that holds the petrochemical industry and government accountable for the true costs of pollution to hasten the transition from fossil fuels. Job Title : Graphic Designer

Job Status : Contractor (15-30 hours per month)

Compensation : $45 per hour

Scope of Work

The graphic design contractor would work with various departments of Louisiana Bucket Brigade, mainly but not limited to communications, development and programs, to create visually inspiring materials consistent with our brand guidelines across all reports, communications, marketing and solicitations intended for external and / or public audiences.

Responsibilities and assignments will include :

ReportDesigns : Designprofessional, digestible, and engaging4-10-pagereportsfor print and digital viewing, including LABB's annual impact report and program replated reports (2-4 per year).

Fundraising Materials : Create designs for print mail appeal materialsfor development, including letters, tri-folds, cards, envelopes, inserts, etc. intended for seasonal solicitations and stewardship (2-3 per year).

Event and Other Materials : Create designs for posters, flyers, letterhead, and brochuresfor press conferences and other events (3-5 per year).

Merchandise : Design for merchandise like t-shirts, totebags,and stickers.

Social Media & Communications : Designtemplates and graphicsfor social media, email and other communications as needed.

Organizational Branding : Maintain and update organizational branding including updating logo updates.

Reports To

The graphic designer will work with the social media coordinator.

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver's license
• Must be able to express a commitment to racial justice and diversity, equity

and inclusion across all groups and social segments.
