SAS Viya

Job Summary :

We're looking for a skilled SAS Viya Developer to design, implement, and optimize data analytics solutions using the SAS Viya platform. The role involves working closely with business and technical teams to build scalable, data-driven applications, reports, and visualizations that support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities :

Develop and maintain advanced analytics, data integration, and reporting solutions using SAS Viya and related SAS tools.

Build and optimize data pipelines for large-scale data processing and analysis.

Collaborate with business analysts and data scientists to design models, dashboards, and predictive reports .

Migrate existing SAS programs from SAS 9.x to Viya environments.

Implement and manage access controls, libraries, and data governance within the Viya environment.

Integrate Viya with databases (Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, etc.) and external APIs.

Work with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) for deployment and scaling of SAS workloads.

Troubleshoot and optimize performance issues across SAS Viya Studio, CAS Server, and Model Studio .

Support automation and CI / CD workflows for SAS jobs and reports.

Required Skills and Experience :

Strong hands-on experience with SAS Viya , SAS Studio , CAS , and Model Studio .

Proficiency in SAS programming, Python, or R for data manipulation and analytics.

Experience in data modeling, ETL development, and visualization within SAS Viya.

Familiarity with SAS Viya administration and configuration is a plus.

Solid understanding of data governance, metadata management, and access control .

Exposure to cloud environments (Azure / AWS) and containerization (Docker / Kubernetes) preferred.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have :

Experience integrating Viya with Power BI or Tableau .

Knowledge of Machine Learning workflows within Viya.

Prior experience working in financial services, healthcare, or manufacturing domains.
