VLinc is hiring a Senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the U.S. Coast Guard's MH-60T helicopter program, with a focus on integration, configuration management, and logistics planning. This position will provide high-level acquisition and sustainment support during the Obtain and Produce / Deploy & Support phases of the aviation lifecycle. The SME will coordinate across government and OEM stakeholders, ensuring effective tracking of configuration changes, integration of new mission systems, and support planning for logistics and obsolescence mitigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic guidance and technical support to the MH-60T acquisition team at the Aviation Projects Acquisition Center (APAC).
• Develop acquisition strategies, including Determinations & Findings (D&Fs) and Justification & Authorizations (J&As).
• Manage and document configuration changes across the MH-60T platform, ensuring alignment with integration schedules and mission objectives.
• Lead obsolescence mitigation planning and coordination with avionics Lead Systems Integrators (LSIs) and OEMs.
• Coordinate logistics planning activities including maintenance training system support, sparing models, and sustainment requirements.
• Support the development and maintenance of Integrated Logistics Support Plans (ILSP), Life Cycle Cost Estimates (LCCE), and associated planning documents.
• Provide on-site oversight and conduct site visits to commercial and government facilities where missionization and upgrades are in progress.
• Collaborate with IPTs, engineering leads, and program managers to ensure compliance with USCG and DHS acquisition policies.
